[Author’s Note: This article was scheduled to drop on May 24, 2024. On May 22, Aba and Preach dropped a video stating that the U.S. government is attempting to demonetize and disincentivize Red Pill content creators such as Fresh&Fit, Rollo Tomassi, Rich Cooper, and H. Pearl Davis. I’m torn because I can’t stand these creators and their message. However, I think they are entitled to their opinions, especially ones counter to the mainstream message. Rather than government intervention and deplatforming, which gives these creators an out to victimhood where they’ll inevitably run to Rumble (as discussed below), I wish that people would take a more active role with vetting content creators. When you’re as old as me, you’ve already seen government agencies attempting to ban certain music, violent video games, and restrict TV shows and movies. I’ve kept my mouth shut on the Manosphere/Male Improvement Space long enough.

I’ve never considered myself a dating coach, love guru, or a marketer of overcomplicated sales funnels, but I wrote for a few of them. As a result, I’ve learned how to sniff out a charlatan with an overcomplicated sales funnel. As I urged in both Herd Immunity books, when you see, smell, or sense fraud, you must call it out. To not call it out is to give tacit approval. Perhaps my perspective is a tad different since I’ve seen the man behind the curtain I left that space when it became painfully obvious that most of the guys are lying to their audience. Nearly all of them were lying about the quality AND quantity of women they were bedding!

This article began as a cut Chapter from Herd Immunity: Societal Deprogramming. I was considering writing a book centered on my dating and relationships after I traveled the world and had many illicit affairs and tawdry romances. However, some guys (one I’ll introduce in this article) are doing it at a higher level than me. If you desire to meet the girl of your dreams or openly seduce many women, you should learn from the guys that are actually doing it, not the ones that espouse theory for clicks, views, and Super Chats.

The Male Improvement Space deserves to die a slow, agonizing death. Not just because the men and women inhabiting it are frauds, cowards, grifters, and hucksters. But because the space itself shifted from one of action to one of theory and profiteering off men’s misery. Men used to inhabit forums as a colloquy to post receipts, share “game,” and talk war stories. Now these “men” (and I use that term lightly for these goons) get together to gossip, flex on low-value hoes for clout, and regurgitate the same tired points. It's no wonder that their space was infiltrated and co-opted by women who are more adept at garnering attention. You can’t turn far on social media before finding a woman with 50-100k followers telling you she’s cracked the code of male-female interaction and she’ll help you get dates with the best women in your city:

The grifter space, as I outline it, has devolved into sectarian warfare, with each of the tribes/inhabitants calling out the others as frauds:

The Red Pill
The Tradcon/Tradthot Grifters
The Purple Pill (Pick-Up Artists)
The Black Pill, Incels, and VolCels
The MGTOW/Men’s Rights Activists (MRAs)

The reality is, they’re all wrong. It’s not about “game.” It’s not about lying to women, faking dating photos, Instagram grids, flexing Lambos, or even trafficking girls into Romania and making them webcam for you. It’s about having the balls to drop the bullshit and talk to women in real life.

[Addendum: I use the term ‘grifter’ many times throughout this piece, so before I get too far ahead of myself, I’ll define this term. There’s a bit of looseness as one man’s grifter is another man’s life coach/guru/surrogate father figure. For the sake of this article, I’ll use this easy four-tiered distinction as defined by the How Money Works YouTube Channel:

A good grift requires people to believe four things:

People need to believe it’s credible
People need to believe it will give them wealth or a better life
People need to believe it will be easy, and
People need to believe that the grifter has a secret to making it all work.3]

Before I begin, I want to state again that even though I wrote for a few in the past, I’m not a Pick-up artist, dating coach, love guru, or anything of the sort. Other than the Herd Immunity books, I’ll give you one source that I’ve used (and am still using) to better my life. I’m just a man with two-and-a-half decades of dating experience who made the conscious choice to deprioritize women while still availing myself to a plurality of options. When you abandon this garbage space full of Doomsday peddlers and make the decision to judge women solely based on your life experiences, you see the dating realm with new eyes. The only way to build this filtering mechanism is with reps. No amount of books, message board posts, or YouTube livestreams will help you meet women. Continuing to inhabit this space and be persuaded by these frauds is perilous to your success with women and your bank account.

My thesis is threefold:

The Male Improvement Space and their “guru” talking heads are deliberately misleading men.
It’s done purposely for profit. And,
These frauds will continue to do so until people bully them off their platforms and back into the shadows of obscurity where they belong.

If you have fallen into one or more of these spaces in your life and believed the lies they sold you, you should be upset. If you’re still investing time and/or money in these spaces, I challenge you to weigh the evidence empirically, check everything they claim, check everything I claim, and make your own intelligent, well-reasoned decision.

The Estrogen Pill

Before Andrew Tate used a pyramid scheme to hijack TikTok, most men found the Manosphere, particularly the Red Pill, due to a negative experience. A painful breakup, divorce/custody battle, or physical and mental trauma are the largest reasons. My experience with the Red Pill community was no exception. Years of blindly following this garbage turned me from a man who enjoyed having women in my life to being adversarial, distrusting, and contemptuous of women. The men in this community use the Red Pill allegory of The Matrix to represent opening their eyes to the truth of female nature. A couple of these nerds even went back to school to get a degree in Evolutionary Psychology (EP) to gain some “appeal to authority” fallacy. However, As Darren Allen wrote in 33 Myths of the System, all psychology is a myth, especially evolutionary psychology:

Psychologists refuse to draw evidence about the nature of psychological truth—consciousness—from the only direct source they can ever have of it; their own conscious awareness of their own lives, which is why they have nothing meaningful to say about sanity. The objectivity they rely on…is a sham, a monumental fraud, based on the ceaseless diagnosing, classifying, naming, categorizing, quantifying, and measuring of behaviour, upon which they invent the fictional medical categories they call mental “illnesses.”5

Of the four main Red Pill patriarchs (RooshV, Pook, and Roissy), only Rollo Tomassi exists still in the space. Rollo is an interesting character, and if you’ve never read or seen his work, your life is better off. Rollo has written five books and maintains his blog, The Rational Male, as well as his own YouTube channel, in case you were curious about this character. The truth is Rollo’s words carried more gristle when he was an anonymous denizen of the SoSuave forums. He was foisted upon us when he aligned himself first with Anthony Johnson of the 21 Convention. This unholy alliance was instrumental in getting more eyeballs on himself and this space. Rollo and Johnson split and dissolved their partnership, but the cat was already out of the bag, and Rollo had a new platform to unleash his nonsense.

The problem with Rollo being “The Godfather” of the Manosphere is the same problem I’ll discuss with the majority of the Male Improvement Space: he’s a keyboard warrior. Rollo doesn’t live in real life and neither does his theory. As such, he suffers from a paradox of practice: he tells his male readers to do things he has never, nor will ever do. According to The Irrational Male: The Case Against Rollo Tomassi and author Boaz:

Rollo has been married for over 20 years and has not seen another woman’s real-life vagina since the nineties. Hence his sexual and romantic experiences are non-existent. Rollo’s “Red Pill praxeology” is primarily based on philosophical discussions in online forums. Philosophizing in the virtual world is not the same as participating in genuine life relationships with flesh and blood human beings. His wife is not the only woman in the United States or the world. His own experience with one woman does not represent all men’s experiences with women everywhere on Earth.
Rollo’s “praxeology” about women’s nature is not backed by scientific and empirical evidence. Rollo rarely provides documentation from authoritative sources from any academic community in biology, evolutionary psychology, cultural anthropology, sociology, and economics to defend his worldview. When not relying on his “praxeology” of “loose science”, Rollo intentionally steals other people’s academic work without attribution. He consistently and dishonestly mangles the research and hides it behind misnomers like “hypergamy,” “solipsism,” and “female imperative,” then lies, falsely claiming he just “connected the dots.”6

Boaz uses “praxeology” in quotes because it’s one of Rollo’s catchphrases; one of many he uses incorrectly. In true pseudointellectual fashion, Rollo likes to cherry-pick words, definitions, and ideas and bend them to fit his stilted view on relationships. Everyone has a quasi-solipsistic view of the universe—we interpret reality through our experiences. This is why empathy is so important. It keeps us from assuming every woman we meet is an opportunistic shit-heel that will cheat and/or leave us as soon as a better option presents itself as the majority of losers in this space do.

Say what you want about Rollo, but you gotta piss a lot of people off to have someone write an entire book debunking your life’s work. Rollo makes it easy to hate him with pseudo-intellectualism and condescension of anyone who disagrees with his pet theories regarding female sexual nature.

Stated again with emphasis, Rollo uses many big words he doesn’t understand. Psychologist Shawn T. Smith, author of The Tactical Guide to Women and Gatekeeper disagrees with Rollo’s definition of hypergamy:

I’ll admit, I’m sniping at low-hanging fruit here. These are some of the worst examples of red-pill writing. These guys take scraps of ideas and personal experience and cobble them together into something that’s sometimes pretty irrational. But I’m starting with this low-hanging fruit because it’s the lowest common denominator. This stuff is out there in droves. It’s in videos, essays, forums, and comment sections. The ideas get recycled and repeated endlessly.
A cynical person might say there are a lot of guys out there who got dumped and they’re looking to blame some factor outside themselves. I don’t want to start there because I don’t think it’s entirely true. Plus, I try never to start with a conclusion.
So let’s start with the question I’ve been wrestling with for the last few months: Does red-pill hypergamy theory explain behavior? Does it predict the decisions women make once they’ve entered a relationship? I have no doubt that hypergamy influences what women find attractive. It undoubtedly affects the relationships they choose. But does it predict things like cheating? Monkey-branching? Divorce? I can’t logically say that it doesn’t, but beyond men’s self-reported anecdotes. I can’t find much evidence that it does.7

Even though Rollo has his bachelor’s degree in psychology, other psychologists won’t co-sign his cherry-picked view of hypergamy. What about Rollo’s other favorite word—solipsism:

This following one is from his Iron Rules of Tomassi chapter, where he says, “Women's solipsism prevents men from realizing men would even have a differing concept of love than how a woman perceives love,” and so because of women's innate solipsism they can't help… and so fundamental to female nature, according to Rollo, is this solipsism. Solipsism is fundamental to female nature. It doesn’t matter where or how you were raised, that's always going to be fundamental to female nature.
On top of that, you couple solipsism with hypergamy, which is always looking for your next best option, or your best option as a woman in terms of a mate for a man, women are always going to be hyper-focused on trying to achieve the best man possible by any means necessary, because they are innately solipsistic, that's their number one drive being hypergamous so they're always going to go after that no matter what…8

Rollo is so delusional in his cult-like status, that any time someone critiques his life’s work or dissuades men from joining this parasitic cult, he goes live from his guitar room for a five-hour sperg-a-thon. During these epic tantrums, Rollo talks in circles, begs for Super Chats, and challenges that his work saves lives:

Until you can show me you’re taking guns out of people’s mouths, you can go fuck yourself! That’s why I’m pissed off. That’s why I’m done with this shit… Disingenuous bullshit because they don’t have a counter, or they’ve got to make up and fabricate something that you didn’t say or make you out to be something that you aren’t… and do you know what the net result of that is? Is that guys are hurting; guys die, because of you! Because of this shit! That’s why… How many of those guys die because of your strawman shit…9

That’s a 50-year-old man having a full-on meltdown because someone had the temerity to question his cherry-picked view of female nature. Before Rollo claims the moral high ground regarding saving men’s lives, he should go read what his critics and detractors are saying about the horseshit he’s peddling on the r/ExRedPill subreddit. He’s not the only grown man in the space who masquerades as an ‘alpha male’ while having outbursts on camera. It doesn’t matter that Rollo worked in the liquor industry observing shot girls, it doesn’t matter that Rollo’s daughter talked to him about the boys in her class. Rollo hasn’t dated a new woman in over 25 years. All of his observations are cherry-picked strawmen and any criticism of his work results in him crying “strawman” against his detractors. The space is full of “dork-ass losers” that don’t understand female nature, and wouldn’t know what to do with a beautiful woman if one were interested:

Here's the real Red Pill: many of these “alpha males” would crap their pants if forced to cold-approach a beautiful woman. However, for argument’s sake, let’s say the red pill is correct—they did all the research and they’ve cracked the code on EP and intergender dynamics. If that’s the case, wouldn’t these “alpha males” be dating the best-looking women in their cities? I’d like to think so… Nope. Credit to John Anthony Lifestyle for calling out many of these frauds for dating/marrying ugly women, yet still claiming to be pussy-killers. In his video, he shows off the ugly women that fraudsters such as Rollo Tomassi, Rian Stone, and Todd V., are getting with their theories.10

[Author’s Note: I appreciate the work John Anthony did when he came on the scene of calling out frauds and roasting PUAs, dating coaches, and other would-be Casanovas. I don’t use his dating methodologies, but as a roaster and a shit-talker, I respect his work.]

One thing all these “alpha males” seem to ignore is that the ‘Red Pill’ of The Matrix fame is an estrogen pill. It’s ironic that these men who hate women, blame feminism for the fall of Western civilization, and claim to be experts in female nature all lean on an allegory created by two trans women 25 years ago.11 Food for thought… It shouldn’t surprise you that the Red Pill is an estrogen pill. All the proof you need is watching “Godfather” Rollo’s and “Punisher” Myron Gaines’ meltdowns to see the estrogen flowing:

Even if Rollo were a paragon of excellence, cited his sources, and was out in the field cold-approaching women daily, he’s created a monster within the space. Because the Manosphere is a grift, complete with its books, courses, and seminars, these goofballs all take turns co-signing each other. When they aren’t busy going on each other’s shows blowing smoke up each other’s asses, they’re not-so-secretly ripping off each other’s work and passing it off as their own. Content creators such as Modern Life Dating have ripped entire courses from both the living and the dead!13 As a former contributor to the Return of Kings message board, Donovan Sharpe consistently rips off RooshV and stole Womanese from Pook!

Rian Stone “wrote” a book about frame and praxeology [more on that later]. The two autistic weirdos Fresh & Fit rip off everyone’s content, never give credit, and talk out of both sides of their mouth, while impregnating every e-thot in Dade County.14 I’ll give Boaz the final word on The Manosphere grift:

I agree with Rollo that many people rip off his snake oil to profit off gullible men in the Manosphere. He alludes to this in the back of his books. It is sad because all the copycats are shamelessly plagiarizing his pseudo-intellectual quackery.
I doubt they have spent any time reading his “literature” outside from swiping points here and there, usually stolen from secondary and tertiary Manosphere grifters, who stole from Rollo, to begin with.
The Manosphere is not lighting the world on fire with its manly integrity. This seems to be a trend in the Manosphere because dating coach and author Allen Roger Currie and image consultant Kevin Samuels get ripped off left and right. There is nothing manly about stealing other people’s work and profiting off it…
Perhaps the Manosphere should be renamed the “Kleptosphere” because that is what it is.15

This space does nothing to end the socially perceived war between the sexes, and I’m cheerfully watching its’ collapse from the sidelines.

Former PUA and Red Pill patriarch RooshV’s evolving the grift mirrors many in the space—transitioning from pick-up artist, to message board denizen, to red pill theory espouser, to Tradcon/God-pill initiate.16 Once the Red Pill theorist and dating coach faces backlash or gets deplatformed, they seamlessly transition (as I am now) into the next grift.

The “Based” Pill

Even worse than the Red Pill grift is the dork who gets deplatformed or receives heavy pushback and adopts the appeal-to-political audience grift. When the well runs dry on dating advice, just do as the other grifters have done before you: embrace the Tradcon/Tradthot grift. Like many sects of the Male Improvement space, this is one embraced by male and female grifters alike. Usually, a content creator says something stupid, gets banned, deplatformed, or demonetized, cries foul, complains their free speech rights have been violated, and is adopted or championed by the “free speech” grifters. I don’t need to discuss politics, as Herd Immunity dictates that you abandon dogma. However, for these lazy content creators when one grift closes another grift opens.

When his dating coach grift began to lose steam, Pat Stedman shifted his content to the political Grift. Aside from a shared disdain for Rollo Tomassi’s spergations, I have nothing in common with Stedman. Another wannabe womanizer who learned he got more eyeballs by pandering to half the country via politics. It doesn’t bother me that Stedman wants to sell a $700 “masterclass” on dating and relationships.18 It doesn’t bother me that he wanted Trump to win the 2020 Presidential election, but it does bother me when he absolves guilt and responsibility for his actions. Like many other Tradcon LARPers, Pat Steadman was present and live-Tweeting at the January 6^th Capitol riot. Steadman was arrested and faced jail time for his involvement.19 Did he take it on the chin like a man? Nope, he cried to his followers about how much of a victim he was and set up a GiveSendGo to raise money for his legal fees. People were stupid enough to contribute almost $56k, despite Stedman begging for over $200k on Twitter.20 According to his GiveSendGo write-up:

On June 9th I was found guilty for non-violent charges related to January 6th. On September 8th, I was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
I am the primary breadwinner in the family, and the father of two young children - Penelope (age 3) and Michael (age 1). Our savings have been depleted as a result of legal expenses, which currently stand at $223,000 (after donations outside of the platform).

In reality, Stedman is a tool and his wife and kids deserve better! If Pat didn’t want to serve four years behind bars, perhaps he shouldn’t have left his family at home to go play pretend patriot and pander to other political weirdos. It’s not hard to find male political grifters, but since this article focuses on both genders, let’s make fun of the female interlopers as well.

It shouldn’t surprise the men in this space that women wish to get in on the political discussion. After all, more women are running for public office. Why wouldn’t more women become based Tradthots, Red-Pilled, or dating coaches? Lauren Southern, Lauren Chen, Rachel Wilson, Isabella Riley Moody, Lady Alchemy, and many more…Hell, when I was writing in the dating space, two of the biggest contributors were Marnie Kinrys (aka the Wing Girl) and Kezia Noble. Women have been chasing that based-buck for two decades now.

Perhaps the most egregious in my eyes is Mikhaila Peterson. Out of all these “based chicks,” I think Mikhaila is the worst because of her proximity to the mainstream. Her father going on The Joe Rogan Experience was bad enough, but because of the Petersons’ claims that the carnivore diet fixed their health issues, Mikhaila had to go on as well. I’d like to thank Joe Rogan for unleashing his pantheon of pseudo-intellectuals on us: the Weinsteins, Lex Friedman, Graham Hancock, and Christopher Ryan to name a few. However, the Petersons, particularly ‘Mikooky’ takes the carnivore cake. If you read my Tao of Mikey Gouffett article you’ll remember that I found Red Bar Radio due to her Lion’s Lair scheme:

It’s funny that Mike was the first one to not only call out Mikhaila for her nonsense but was one of the first to rip on Andrew Tate as well.23

I was in Mikhaila’s free Facebook group dedicated to the carnivore diet when she dropped her $600 Lion’s Lair scam. I immediately called bullshit and left. You don’t need to pay $600 to be told to eat beef and salt. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that vegetarians/vegans are dogmatic weirdos while simultaneously praising the carnivore/paleo nutjobs. Anyone who’s dogmatic about food should be removed from society and placed under watch for the good of humanity.

What bothers me most about this weirdo family wasn’t their masquerading as experts, their PR handlers booking them everywhere, but that they’re liars. Just like other political grifters, they’re greedy opportunists who pretend to have their audience’s best interests in mind. No, they want an easy career, book tours, and lifetime access to the cult of personality. If you don’t believe me, follow them on Instagram and look at their pictures.

Mikhaila deliberately downplayed a Lyme disease diagnosis to her audience because she was in full throes of her Lion’s Lair sales pitch. One of the key components of Lyme’s Disease is that some symptoms are intermittent—they disappear and reappear, particularly joint pain and stiffness.24 She brushed her Lyme Disease diagnosis aside faster than her first husband/baby daddy:

Thank God Red Bar was on the case! When you’re trying to sell a $600 meat group to your paypigs, you have to sell them the lie that meat cured your autoimmune disorder and your joint pains/arthritis. You can’t tell them that your autoimmune disorder goes into remission intermittently. Keep in mind as a result of the carnivore diet, her father went into 25 days of impending doom and sleep deprivation after drinking a glass of apple cider.26 This is the same family that had to fly to Moscow to put Papa Peterson into a medically induced coma because he got addicted to benzodiazepines.27 I guess the family should re-read Patriarch Peterson’s books and “clean your room, bucko!” Instead of cleaning her room, Mikhaila used her pay pig money to get tons of plastic surgery and fleeced a member of her Lion’s Lair into marrying her and knocking her up. How can the Peterson family be an example of the Tradcon LARP when they sold their daughter into the cult of personality, allowing Mikhaila to slut it up on Instagram while she has multiple kids from multiple baby-daddies? Oh well, at least she got her Lion Layer makeover:

No discussion of female Red Pill/Tradthot grifters is complete without mentioning the pearl that is H. Pearl Davis aka PearlyThingz. Pearl is the golden lolcow just keeps on giving. Imagine the most shocking stuff that Andrew Tate, Fresh & Fit, and Rollo Tomassi could ever say, but it’s coming out of a tall, ugly, awkward, trust-fund girl—kind of the bizarro Taylor Swift, but less likable. Because I have zero emotional attachment to the space, I get to sit back and laugh at the stupid things she posts just for a reaction. I also get to laugh at all the men in the space who hate her because she gets more eyeballs than they do, while she steals their talking points verbatim. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say it’s a meme account.

Pearl suffers from the same “do as I say, not as I do” paradox of practice as her male Red Pill counterparts. Like many morons in the space, Pearl has parroted the “EP” chestnut that “men value purity, youth, [and] beauty;” all of which she’s not.28 She chastises women for not being traditional or feminine, yet she’s built like a barrel keg and dresses in clothes that could double as Hefty bags.29

Pearl claims women should be young and virgins, but she’s had two ex-boyfriends who kicked her to the curb, and she didn’t wait for marriage, either.30 Standard Red Pill double-speak. There are too many videos and reactions about her to cite. You could spend months going down this rabbit hole. Thanks to her “evolution” into Red Pill and “Tradthot” talking points, Pearl’s finally getting all the attention she never got when she was younger because she’s neither clever nor attractive. If you wish to dunk on modern women, be my guest. They make it so easy, even other women turn on their gender. However, watching these “based” chicks talking politics, dating, and intergender dynamics because it gets them attention or because they think they’ll meet a husband is sad. In his 90-minute video, “The Tragic Tale of JustPearlyThings | The Un-Pickable Pick-Me,” he does a deep dive into Pearl’s entire past, detailing her early YouTube life as a feminist and her transition into Red Pill rage-bait: “ [Only] the difference between Pearl and her contemporaries is that she, if you haven’t noticed, is a woman—a token of femininity floating across a vast sea of testosterone, yearning desperately for a crumb of credibility, even if it means existing to attack and demean her own group. Which is a long way of saying, ‘Pearl isn’t like the other girls…because she’s worse!’”31 Aubrey continues, “By feeding into the biases and delusions and biases of the most annoying people on the planet, Pearl gets to go viral on Twitter, book prime-time television interviews, sell painfully uncreative merch, and produce some of the laziest, unedited content I’ve seen in my life.”32 The sad part of Pearl’s “pick-me” grift is that she’s finally getting all the attention she craves, but from all the wrong men, and for all the wrong reasons.
